Paul Audia is an Italian guitarist and composer. Paul's influences come from different directions: from the classic rock of bands like Led Zeppelin or Queen, to the nineties of Jeff Buckley or Lenny Kravitz. His guitar style is inspired by artists such as Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page or Jimi Hendrix.
His first EP, entitled On Your Skin, contains four songs, totally composed and arranged by Paul, and his own version of Heaven, a famous song by Depeche Mode.
On his second work, Total Control, released in 2018, recorded in Los Angeles at Rodger Carter Doghouse Studio and produced by Matt Starr, Paul plays three new songs along with MR BIG's drummer and bassist: Matt Starr himself and the legendary Billy Sheehan.
On June 30, 2018, Paul has played at the inaugural Malta Blues Festival.
Paul has also played with another project, the band Audyaroad, in the UK for a mini-tour and at the 2017 edition of the Pistoia Blues Festival, one of the most important blues festivals in all of Europe.
Paul is the co-founder and co-producer of Guitar Tutorials, a YouTube channel where he offers lessons to learn how to play licks and solos of famous songs. This channel has already exceeded 10 million views.
In 2019 Paul has worked on the official song for Fight Clinic, an association of medical professionals who collaborate with MMA-related sporting events such as Oktagon, Bellator and Petrosyan Mania. Paul produced the song and the video clip.
In 2019 Paul released "I Don’t Feel You" and "City of Sins " with again Matt Starr on the drums. The album Desolation, published in 2020, contains six new songs and a re-recording of Midsummer Dream, originally included in On Your Skin.
The new album is called No Longer the Same: it includes 7 new songs composed and arranged by Paul, with the collaboration of Smiley Sean at the mixing and mastering of Nando Costa.
